Elevating Safety combines expertise in consulting, engineering and technology for the design and management of vertical and horizontal transportation systems. Our consultants provide clear analysis, cost effective recommendations and attention to detail, ranging from code compliance to aesthetic considerations. Our consultants are trained and accredited in the codes and standards of the vertical transportation industry. We apply those codes and standards to avoid costly mistakes and cost overruns.
Inspections:
We perform inspections and quality assessments for property owners, developers, building tenants, architects, engineers, municipal code enforcement bodies and insurance companies responsible for enforcing compliance. Our experts recommend repairs to confirm compliance and, in some cases, suspend operations of unsafe lift equipment to ensure public safety. Our office staff maintain accurate records and reports of each inspection, interpret and explain building and safety codes to contractors, property owners and the general public.
Maintenance Audits:
Periodically, property owners/managers find it helpful to assess their maintenance provider performance, to verify reception of service rendered according to the specifications and provisions of the contract. The audit helps determine the long-term viability of the equipment as required by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), provides a detailed report to enforce municipal code to ensure the public's safety and verify work completion identified by the elevator authorities having jurisdiction.
Condition Assessments:
Elevating Safety’s equipment condition assessments are performed by experienced professionals trained to thoroughly examine your facilities lift systems. We perform complex analysis of new and existing lift equipment, including elevators, escalators, moving sidewalks and wheelchair lift systems to extend the life of equipment translating into significant cost savings to property owners and managers.
